613 Avenue Create Just for Fun challenge

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday, this time over at 613 Avenue Create, the theme is Any Spring Goes

My card uses an image I sadly can not reference as it was given to me by a lovely gentleman who's wife sadly passed away, along with many other rubber stamps all in wonderful folders, but sadly no indication of who made them, but I feel they still deserve an outing from time to time.

I used MFT Peekaboo Polkadots for the background and some stitched ovals to frame the beautiful Daffodils. The sentiment is from Little Darlings - Spring Sentiments.

Creative Moments Challenge 114 & FREEBIE ALLERT

Happy Wednesday

Sorry for my absence in the last 2 weeks, I have been suffering with the dreaded flu bug, how awful flu is, totally wipes you out, and to top it off Hubby has been home sick with it also, what a sorry pair we have been. Well fingers crossed we are both on the mend and service will return to normal :-)

So without further ado and on a much happier note!

The theme is as always Anything Goes, and the optional twist is Spring Colours

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are

Freebie Allert
ToryTale is offering a Freebie so please pop over to the Challenge Post to check this out

My card uses the Dr Digi image - Door Mouse

As I know my Mum does not read my blog I can tell you this is also her Mothers Day Card as this coming Sunday is Mothers Day in the UK. My Mum drinks an awful lot of tea, as does my Dad, the first thing after "hello" when you walk through the door is "I'll pop the kettle on" and boy can my Dad make a great cuppa, still using loose tea and a tea pot :-)

So for the card I coloured the image with Copic markers and cut it out with the Scan N Cut. The DP is Dovecraft - Blooming Lovely, and the little scalloped frame is a First Edition die. The sentiment is from my stash and is cut out with Lawn Fawn's Everyday Sentiment Banners. The little flowers are made with a Hobby Craft punch and leaves are made with a MS punch.
