Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Happy Monday

Wow what a whirlwind of a summer we have had, between house & garden renovations, (well one thing lead to another) and not having loads of cash to call in the workmen, then it is between me and my wonderful hubby to do it all ourselves. I have also been dealing with some family illness that has kept me travelling up and down the country the last few weeks, so life has been to say the least a little on the mad side since I was last here.

Ok enough of me and on to the card, this week over at The Outlawz Greetings Challenge  the theme is Back to School and our wonderful sponsor is

My card uses the image Lollipop Lady

I used Spellbinders Elipse to cut & frame the image and a Crafters Companion 5x7 Downton Abbey embossing folder for the background. The flower and leaf was from my stash and the sentiment was created by me.

Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Happy Monday

This week over at The Outlawz, the theme is Vacation, my wonderful hubby and I are currently enjoying a staycation and pottering around in our small patch of garden. We had some repair work done to a roof recently, and to allow access to it for the workmen, we had to move an old shed. This had a knock on effect on the whole garden. After moving the shed and the repairs being done we decided to create a nice seating area. This led to more landscaping by removing an old veg plot that never did too well and turning it into a rose garden. A trip to the recycling centre today, and all things in the garden will be rosy ( excuse the pun)

Ok so on with the crafty stuff, as I mentioned the theme over at the Outlawz is Vacation, and our wonderful sponsor is

My card uses the image - Sailboat

The DP is from my stash and is an old Docraft paper. I used some distress inks to create the scene behind the boat and added some Lawn Fawn Simple Puffy Cloud Frames. After colouring the little boat with Copic markers, I fussy cut it out, and added it to the scene with foam tape. I created the port hole style frame with two Spellbinders Circle dies and used brads to decorate it. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs and is cut out with MFT's Oval Word Window Frames.
