Music Makes the World go Round ...

Happy Sunday

Firstly, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

This week at 613 Avenue Create, the theme is as always Anything Goes, and the optional twist is to add some music to your card.

My card uses the image Ballet Slippers


I coloured the image, and fussy cut it out, as I wanted it to look a little like a pair of ballet shoes hanging on a wall. The Embossing folder is Crafters Companion - Seasonal Music,and the music score is by Memory Box. The large Treble Clef's are by Marianne Designs, and the tiny notes are made with a Fiskars had punch.

Outlawz Monday Greetings Challenge

This week the theme of the challenge is "Inspired by a Movie"

My card uses the image - Princess Snowflake


The movie as you have probably guessed is White Christmas, and I will unashamedly admit this is without exception, my favourite all time Christmas Movie, and yes I have already watched it twice in the last month!

The embossing folder is Crafters Companion - Seasonal Music, the image is cut out with SB labels 47 & the sentiment is cut out with SB - Snowflake view. I have also used SB Flurries & Snowflake Pendant.

Outlawz Greetings Challenge

Christmas is just around the corner, so over at The Outlawz Greetings Challenge the theme is Christmas in 2 colours

My card use the image - Winter Johnny Sweet Urchin


I used SB Deckled Edge Classic Ovals large to cut out my image, this was coloured with Copic markers and then a little distress ink. I mounted this onto Memory Box - Holly Holiday frame. The embossing folder is SB - Holiday Magic and the sentiment is SB - Holiday sentiments, mounted on SB - Holiday Tags. The Holly and little Poinsettias, are from SB Holly Frame.

CAS Card at the Crafters Cafe

Happy Sunday (again)

This week at The Crafters Cafe , we have 2 lovely sponsors, and I have 2 creations for you. The theme is CAS and inspired by food and/or drink. Now any of you who drop by often will know that CAS is probably my worst nightmare, as I just can not seem to grasp the concept! Well I did my best, but think you could argue that my cards are not quiet CAS.



My first card uses the image Rolling by from Art by Miran


The image is coloured with Copic markers and I used SB A2 Curved Matting Basics A & B to create the card base and layers. The flower is SB Pretty Petals D and the leaf is from SB Romantic Blooms 1

My second card uses the image Stella Nurse - Hospital Food, from Bugaboo


Again this image is coloured with Copic markers and Both the image and sentiment is cut out with SB A2 Modern Stationary. I used a little Distress ink in Tumbled Glass around the edges.  The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Folder.

Happy Sunday

Winter Birthday

This fortnight at Creative Moments the theme is as always Anything Goes, with the optional twist of A Winter Birthday

My card uses the Melonheadz Seasons Winter Bundle


It is all coloured with Copic markers and the fussy cut elements were cut on my Brother Scan N Cut, using a 2mm margin.
The main image is cut with SB Celebrations Pierced Ovals, I used the largest size oval, this is matted on to SB Snowflake View. The DP is First Edition (Trimcraft) Gilded Winter, and the snowflakes were cut with a SU 1 3/8 circle punch.
