Crafters Cafe Challenge & The last Post for 2017

Happy Friday

This is my last Blog Post of 2017, I would like to wish you all a fabulous Holiday season and a very craft New Year.

The last challenge for Crafters Cafe for 2017, we will be back on January 15th with our first challenge of 2018.

This time the theme is Anything Christmas/or use Red, Green & White

The tree is by Cherry Lynn and the DP is Lovecraft's Glad Tidings. The sentiment is from Avery Elle's Dear Santa set and the little presents are from MFT's Santa's Elves set.

I am using the Eureka image The Night Before Christmas


I used a pierced oval die to cut the image out after colouring with my Copic's. The DP is by Trimcraft and is from the stack Dear Santa.

Creative Moments Last Challenge for 2017

Happy Wednesday

I hope this post finds you all well and prepared for the Holiday Season. My family are having a well earned rest this year, we are booked to go out for our Christmas dinner and on Christmas eve I will cook Turkey & Beef for a traditional Boxing day lunch with all the pickle and Bubble & Squeak the family can eat. 

Creative Moments will be back on January 10th 2018 with a new challenge.

This challenge the theme is as always Anything Goes & the optional twist is Christmas

I have 2 cards for you today

The first uses the image Stella - Christmas Cost


I used a Clarity stencil for the background and Fired Brick Distress ink. The image is coloured with Copic's and the Holly leaves are dies from Creative Expressions.

My second card uses the image Christmas Moose Ornament


The background is created with a Crafters Companion 8x8 embossing folder called Knit One Pearl One. After colouring the image with my Copic's I cut it out with Spellbinders Grand circles and matted it on to a Grand Scalloped Circles. The sentiment is by Lawn Fawn from their set Winter Village, and I also used their Everyday Sentiment Banners. The Holly is Memory Box's Ho Ho Holly Leaves.

613 Avenue Create Just of Fun Challenge

Happy Sunday

This month over at 613 Avenue Create the theme is Christmas.

My card uses images from MFT's Santa's Elves


I coloured all the images with Copic markers and added some white gel pen to the tree and stocking. I also used MFT's Wonky Stitched Rectangles & Squares. The brick is stencilled with distress ink.

Crafters Cafe Challenge

Happy Thursday

This time over at the Crafters Cafe , the theme is Wet or Dry Embossing and one of our lovely sponsors is 


My card uses the image Euro Girl-Denise the Artist


All the background is stamped using MFT's Abstract Art in various pigment inks and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder, the same goes for the sentiment and this comes from a LF mini set called Color My World. The background for the image is MFT's Abstract Cover Up and the extra paint splats are made with coloured card stock and Angel Company's Paint Splat dies, these are also heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is die cut and layered with Spellbinders A2 Modern Stationary.
