613 Avenue Create

Happy Sunday

Well another crafty week has gone by, and here in the UK we are looking forward to a long weekend, although here in the Turner household we will be ripping up the old hall carpet in our old Edwardian home, and eventually restoring the wood floors, I also want to walk down to the seafront and check out the 60's festival and all the retro shops, weather permitting. I hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend.

This week over at 613 Avenue Create the theme is a straight Anything goes, our lovely sponsor is

My card uses the image Avery

I used a Spellbinders Celebrations 3D embossing folder called Fabric Weave.
The image was cut out by eye and the corners rounded, I then used my perfect layers tool to create the mat. The flowers and foliage are both Spellbinders:
Floral Berry Accents
Di D-lites Ferns

Crafters Cafe are Inside Out

Happy Sunday

This time over at The Crafters Cafe, the theme is "Use Bright Colours inside the Card for a Surprise"

Lets be a bit different this time. Must be a card, the front of the card is to be CAS style and mainly a black and white sentiment, but the inside is to be decorated with bright colours, embellishments etc.

One of the lovely sponsors for this challenge is

I am using the image Bashful Boo's Balloon

The outside is created using (now don't faint) an X-Cut die called Happy Birthday Topper, and a Crafters Companion 8x8 embossing folder called Sunbeam, I am afraid this is about as CAS as I can manage!

The inside does have some Spellbinder dies:

Labels 52 Decorative Accents (corner embellishment)
Up Up and Away - Retired
Bow Couture

Happy Sunday

This week over at 613 Avenue Create I am playing Anything Goes, and the lovely sponsor for my creation is

The image is called Love to Craft

I have used Spellbinders:
Ritz Labels

I have also used a Crafters Companion 8x8 Embossing Folder - Rain, as it reminded me of the paint splats still on my craft desk from up-cycleing an old pine box into a doggy toy box

I painted it with chalk paints and stamped the paw prints in Stazon black ink, I think my DH was more impressed that the dog tho :-)

I kept this one simple, as the image is so the star of the show!

Way back in March, I made the following card for my Husbands Birthday, this image "Bunny Suit" was just perfect, as for christmas one of my presents was a pair of bunny PJ's, and since then I have kept telling him "the girl in the bunny suit is always right, and it has become a bit of a standing joke. I could not resist sharing with you!
