The sun is shining down today here in my little corner of the UK and we have a new

My card uses the image JULIE JOPICS

I just fell in love with this image, and as I think she looks like she is in her PJ's the sentiment from Hampton Art fitted perfectly (and I have been waiting to use this sentiment for a very long time)

I coloured her with Copic markers and cut her out with SB - Classic Squares, the beautiful frame is a recent release from SB - Lovin' Diamonds. The flowers are from my stash, and the sentiment is cut out with SB - Classic Ovals.

613 Avenue Create

Happy Sunday

The weather here in my tiny corner of the UK is a little cooler today, but we are told there is a heatwave coming early in the week, but should only last a couple of days, I am told temperatures will exceed 30!

Now for the crafty stuff!

This week over at 613 Avenue Create , the theme is as always "Anything Goes" with the optional twist of using Roses and/or Pearls as the flower for June is the Rose and the birthstone is the Pearl.

I used the SB die Seed Packet, a long retired one I am afraid to feature the Roses for this card.

My next card uses the pre-coloured image from Bugaboo called Rose Monster

The sentiment is from my stash and the die cuts are SB - Roses and Thorns. I used SB Curved Squares to matt and layer both the image and sentiment.

My card uses the image - I love Books

I used SB Deckled Ovals to cut out the image, that I coloured using Copic markers I then layered it onto SB Labels 18. The corners are made with an EK Success punch and the buttons are from my stash. The embossing folder is by X-Cut - Cable Knit.

Creative Moments Challenge 70

I got a little carried away with the Deedee's images, I think because I usually find masculine cards such a challenge, but Deedee's pre-coloured images are such fun to work with and make masculine cards quick and easy!

Using Vintage Media

 The DP is from the set, and the woodgrain embossing folder is a 6x6 from X-Cut.

I cut the image/sentiment and layered it using SB 5x7Matting Basics A & B

 Using Grillin' & Chillin'

 I fussy cut the little images from the set and used SB Labels 46 for both the main image and sentiment

Using Sing Praises

 The image was cut with my paper trimmer and layered using my Perfect Layers tool. The sentiment is cut and layered with punches. The die cuts are SB Inspire - Prickly Pear

Happy Wednesday

Outlawz Greetings Card Challenge

Happy Monday

The sun is shining in my little corner of the UK and at last I seem to be on the mend after a small op on my toes! I had some tiny kittens come in, who were so poorly with a viral infection I sadly lost 3 out of the litter of 4. I am hoping the last little one will be home today as it has been in the vets since last Thursday.

My card uses the image Green Fingers and Thumbs

I used a Crafters Companion Textures embossing folder for the background, called leaf vein and also a Cuttle Bug folder from Freshly Picked. I cut out the image & sentiment with SB - Classic Ovals Large and matted them on to SB Oval Bliss. The Leaves are from SB - Flower Bundle.
