Today we have some wonderful new images in the DS4J shop, and some amazing inspiration from the Design Team HERE

My card today uses the lovely new image "Bamboo" by Jen Lee

I have used a new purchase from Crafters Companion - A4 Embossing Folder - Falling Leaves for the background. The image is coloured with Copic markers and mounted on to Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles. I loved the image and felt it was statement enough for the card, so kept it simple.

I am returning for another term with this wonderful team, and am overjoyed to be working with so many talented people. I thought is would be fun to re-visit some of my previous creations while being on this fab team.

For those of you who do not know me, I am a teacher of Sugarcraft and Art and Design for Kent Adult Education. I an a regular in the local Hobbycraft demonstrating all manner of paper craft products and techniques. 

So on with the show!

These were the first two card I made back in February and oh my how time has flown! 

In March it was time to celebrate St Patricks Day

In April it was an ATC and a Fat Page, both way out of my comfort zone I must confess, but that is the beauty of being on a DT, it makes you think out of the box and stretch your creativity.

I have had the privilege of working with so many amazing designers in the past on this team, and wish those who chose to move on a wonderful and crafty future. 

The new members of the team are such a talented bunch and I hope you wish them all well by leaving them some love along the way (and don't forget the chance at some lovely prizes). It is now time to hop along to the uber talented Ems blog

Good Things Come in Three's

Happy Thursday

Today I have a trio of projects to share with you:

Firstly over at Creative Moments the new challenge is "Flowers", my card uses the image from our lovely sponsor 

Just Some Lines

The images I have used is Emo Flower Full Day Word & Emo Flower Full Day

I have used a Spellbinders A4 Embossing folder for the background and made the flowers with various flower dies in my collection, I have coloured the image with Copic markers

Also this week we have a new challenge at DS4J and the lovely Desire is hosting for us, the theme is "Paper Folding"

I have used the image Dress on Hanger and paper pieced it with some DP from my stash, the paper folded flower is a reversal of a tutorial by Desire herself and you can see these on her blog HERE. I have also used a Spellbinders Cut Fold and Tuck die.

Last but certainly not least it is week 4 of the challenge over at Crafters Cafe, my image is from Fred She Said  and is called Emma in her Cool Cap .This is the card I sent to my Dad for Fathers Day.

I have used a large Embossing folder to create the background and coloured the image with Copic markers. The letters are cut from a Tattered Lace die called Carnival, and the hearts are from various punches.

Summer Vacation

New Release Sunday

There is some wonderful new releases over at DS4J Shop and some fantastic inspiration from the Design Team HERE

My card uses the combined images of Cosmos and the new release Dragonfly

I have coloured the images with Copic markers and then masked and inked the background with Memento Summer Sky. The dies are Spellbinders Grand Circles & Grand Decorative Circles One. The little flower is made with Sizzix Susan's Garden Mini Daisy, the little green leaves are MS branch punch.

 Father's or For a Male.

The image is "Train Cupcake" by Limited Runs
