613 Avenue Create Challenge 124 & A Freebie

Happy Sunday

The sun is shining on the East Coast of England and I look forward to spending some time in our garden, as well as a little time in the craft room.

Over at 613 Avenue Create the theme for the challenge is as usual Anything Goes, and the optional twist this week is a creation for a Teacher/Educator.

There are also some freebies on the page so pop over now and see the fab inspiration from the DT as well as pick up your free sentiments.

Our lovely sponsors for this challenge are

My card uses the All Dressed Up image - Little Book Worm

I used a Ebosser folder by Teresa Collins called Woodgrain Cottage. The chalkboard sentiments are from GKD Designs stamp set that is sadly retired. I created the crick wall with a Creative Expressions stencil and embossing paste, coloured with Distress ink - Fired Brick, when it was dry, I added some copper Perfect Pearls and set it with a little hairspray.

I look forward to seeing your entries in the challenge

Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful Sunday

Dotty About Outlawz

Happy Monday

It has been a sad week since my last Outlawz post, my dear friend Chana has decided to step down from the team, she has been out intrepid leader for such a long time and I will miss her terribly. The bad news for the team is they will now have to put up with me leading them, with the lovely Linda Webber as my right hand girl, I promise to do my best for not only the team, but all you lovely people who take time to enter our challenges each week.

So as the title says we are going a little dotty this week, as the theme for The Greetings Card challenge is "Polkadots"

Our lovely sponsor for this challenge is

My card uses the image - Heels Polkadots

I started by colouring the image with Copic markers, and then fussy cut it out. I added some Stickles, this I will admit is a first I think for me, I purchased this product in several colours a couple of years ago in a sale, and there they have sat. Well perhaps you may see them and some Perfect Pearls popping up occasionally in future. I used Spellbinders Card Creator Matting Basics B and Polkadots  and also the M-Bossabilities folder Graduated Dots, to complete my project, you may recognise the flower from yesterdays post, it was a left over that was just begging to be used.
