The leaves are made with alcohol inks on glossy card stock and cut with Impression Obsession Leaves & Leaves Small. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs Autumn Beauty by Theresa Momber.

Pattern Paper Explosion

Happy Tuesday

This week over at the Outlawz Greetings Card Challenge the theme is "two or more pattern papers". Now DP often takes we well out of my comfort zone, and I found this challenge, sorry for the pun, very challenging! The Design Team have made some wonderful creations for your inspiration, so pop over and give them some love.

My card this week features the sentiment from the sadly retired set by Theresa Momber -  Timeless Treasures

I have used DP from a paper stack by DCWV, called Trade Winds, and Spellbinders - Aster Flower Topper. The key was cut with metal craft foil using Spellbinders - Jewel Keys, and the sentiment was cut and layered with Just Right Dies - Nested Medallion Labels & Nested Medallion Labels Ovals. The boarder is made with a MS punch.

I live in a beautiful part of the Kent Coast, not far from the area made famous by the lovely Vera Lynn in her wartime song "(There'll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover" 

Dover is also famous for it's beautiful castle 

A very prominent man worked from here in the 1940's

My card to celebrate the heritage and history of my small corner of England uses the image 

"Winston"

Sir Winston Churchill was well known for his many political achievements, he left a legacy of an impressive number of publications and in 1953 won the Nobel Prize for Literature.

He was also a prolific artist, and I have had the recent pleasure of visiting his home (now owned by the National Trust), and seeing for myself many of his wonderful paintings and drawings.

So without further ado here is my card
