Trick or Treat, but it's not what you think!

Happy Monday

Another great challenge over at the Outlawz Greetings Card Challenge. This week it is Trick or Treat, but there is a twist (and would you expect anything less?)

So the rules of the game are:

A trick that you use in card making. Like a product, or tool you use to create something on your cards. Your shared trick is a treat for everyone!

So here is my card:

So the trick is to emboss a stamped coloured and/or paper pieced image for some depth, you have seen me use this technique in a previous blog post, and for me the treat is the new Matting Basics from Spellbinders and yes you guessed it I purchased mine from:

Whitstable Stamp Craft
21a Oxford Street,
Whitstable, Kent.
Tel: 01227 264303

OR
Online at their parent company

Ok more about the card:

The stamp set is a new release from Gina K Designs called You Say Goodbuy I Say Ello, and is available in Clear and Red Rubber. The paper and ribbons are both also GKD, and the spoon is from a die called Place Card & Silverware, I just used an embossing folder on the handle.

Don't forget to check out the amazing projects from my fellow DT members Here

Last but by no means least a word about our wonderful sponsors, and your chance to win by entering the challenge:

Jackson's Digital Expressions - $12 Free Digital Stamps

Sweet'n'Sassy Stamps - 3 Digi's of winners choice

Paper Temptress - 20 sheets of Cryogen paper

Have a great week, I will be back with some exciting news very soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by.
