Party Time

Anything Goes

Happy Monday (again)

This week at Crafters Cafe we have an "Anything Goes" Challenge for you and we have three wonderful sponsors

My card uses the image Betty Bow


The image is coloured with Copic markers and cut and layered using Spellbinders - Ovals Large & Floral Ovals. The corner is by Lala Land - Filigree Corner, and the DP is from my stash.

As you probably already know "Bling" is not exactly my thing, but I have risen to the challenge and pulled out some bling from my stash, don't get me wrong I love to buy bling and have a reasonable box full, it is just when it comes to actually using it I tend to leave it in the box!

My Sentiments Exactly

Happy Monday

Today over at the Outlawz Greetings Card Challenge our intrepid leader Chana is hosting this weeks challenge. I would like to say that Chana is the best team leader I could hope for and it has been a real pleasure working with her on not only the Outlawz DT but also Crafters Cafe and 613 Avenue Create, thanks to her love and support I have grown as a person and as a crafter, stretching my boundaries and trying new crafty things in the last year. To all my fellow DT members, guys you ROCK and I love working with each and every one of you.

DS4Joy New Release

Happy Sunday

Today over at DS4Joy we have a fab new release for you, I have made two cards this week, the first using a lovely image by Margy called: 

Wings of Love


The second is by Jen Lee and is called:

Martini - who, me?


The Design Team have been working hard on some beautiful creations for your inspiration over at the DS4Joy Blog


The image was coloured using Copic markers and cut and layered with Spellbinders Octagons and Scalloped Octagons. The embossing folders are Spellbinders Hearts and Cuttlebug Polka Dots.


The image is coloured with Copic markers and the beach and sky were added using Memento inks. The image is cut out using Memory Box Debutante Frame and Under the Sea Frame. The embellishments and sentiment are from Whimsy Stamps Beach Bum Dies and Beach Sentiment stamp sets.

Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who take time to read my blog, thank you for following me and my little creations. I look forward to getting to know you all better in 2014 and wish you all a happy and crafty new year.

Apologies and a New Challenge

Happy Sunday

Firstly I would like to apologise for my absence over the last couple of weeks, on December (Friday) 13th my darling Husband had a small stroke, and although he has no lasting damage and is nearly back to his old self, it has kept me away from my craftiness, and you guys :-(

I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas and had plenty of crafty goodies in your stockings. New year is nearly upon us and I hope all of you have a prosperous and wonderful one.

Time for a Trio

I just have no idea where this week has gone, what with work, the charity work and making the decision to re-organise my entire stamp collection (I know I must be mad) I must of blinked and missed the past few days.

Steampunk Christmas
